Austin & Caty met on the dating app Bumble! Austin was Caty’s first “match” on the app and that was the first sign that it was meant to be.

Austin planned their first date at Bentonville Climb Gym where he taught her how to boulder climb! Directly following the workout, they went to Bentonville Brewing Company and talked until the restaurant closed. They have become regulars at the Brewing Co where they often play board games with friends, especially Monopoly. Austin and Caty are always outside doing something active and that is how they grew so close, so fast!

He officially asked Caty to be his girlfriend after a date at The Momentary Bar on May 27th, 2021. The two have been attached at the hip since 2020 and cannot wait for a life full of date nights!

Austin planned the proposal of Caty's dreams! Caty thought she was going to drinks with friends at Theo's and her best friend Sarah Kathryn was picking her up, as they always do. Austin had so many people in Caty's life in on the lie, (including her boss!) so she had truly no idea. On the way to drinks, SK told Caty she wanted to take pictures at this cute spot for a brand deal, which is very normal! Caty was playing on her phone, oblivious to what was going on, and SK pointed up the hill to say "oh it's right there!".

When Caty looked out the window she saw Austin surrounded by flowers, candles and pictures. She immediately started sobbing and was so shocked she couldn't even unbuckle! After the sweet proposal, he continued the surprises with a party at her brother and sister-in-law's house with their close family and friends. More crying, laughter and love!
